Work Package 2 Output: Field Research on GreenComp in Youth Work

This report presents the findings from Work Package 2 of the Sustain-ability project: Shaping Green COMP for the youth field. The project’s overall aim is to increase the capacity of Europe’s youth work sector to use GreenComp—the European sustainability competence framework—and thereby support the EU’s green transition.

Turning Research into Practice: GreenComp Project Meeting in Vis, Croatia

The Sustain-Ability project team recently met in Vis, Croatia for a four-day transnational meeting. The goal was straightforward: review the research findings from the past year and start building the educational materials that will make up the next phase of work.

KICK-OFF MEETING IN WEIMAR

At a meeting of all partners in Weimar, Germany, the implementation of the project “Sustain-Ability: Shaping Green COMP for the youth field” began!
From 17 to 23 February 2025, GEN Europe team representatives were on a tour in Germany related to the implementation of the Erasmus+ project, the aim of which is to make the GreenComp document – the European Competence Framework for Sustainability – more practical and applicable. Within the project, we will create a curriculum for the youth sector with a focus on this EU document on green competences. We will also develop instructions and advice on how to achieve the aforementioned competences.
